Burrell Professional Labs Selects DataGlyphics as Provider of Managed Web Services

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc. today announced that Burrell Professional Labs (BPL), the largest network of professional photography labs in the world, selected DataGlyphics to provide Managed Web Services for BPL’s entire online community of professional photographers. Under the agreement, DataGlyphics will provide one comprehensive solution that will enable BPL to create and manage individual Web sites for each registered member of its online community.
“For BPL, the Managed Services solution is ideal. It will allow us to provide enhanced Web services while remaining the single point of contact for our community of photographers,” said Michael Bennett, Director of Internet Technology with BPL. “These Web sites are extremely important to our users, and site performance is critical for their success. We look to DataGlyphics’ services to help keep the sites productive – and our customers happy.”
To allow BPL’s registered photographers to submit site changes and updates via the Internet, DataGlyphics will implement an automated system that passes requests through BPL and on to DataGlyphics. This system will keep BPL the sole point of contact for its clients while creating a seamless environment in which DataGlyphics can perform back-end development and hosting services.
“BPL needed a solution that would simplify and streamline the management of the many unique Web sites belonging to our clients,” Bennett said. “We chose DataGlyphics because they demonstrated a complete understanding of our Web needs, and they offered the technology and Managed Services we needed to effectively serve our online community of photographers.”
